Vikings’ running back Adrian Peterson has been accused of using performance enhancing drugs—human growth hormone in particular—and he does not give a f*ck.
Not a singular f*ck.
In fact, he is quite happy about.
According to USA Today, Peterson stated that he “takes accusations of his own possible PED usage as a compliment. Here are some of his comments:
“When you know you don’t do it, and someone’s saying you do, you’re like, ‘Wow. They think I’m on HGH? I’m doing that good? Well, hoo! Thank you, Jesus!’ It’s a compliment. I don’t get mad about it at all.”
Such news comes in light of the fact that The NFL Players Association recently authorized a set of rules for a study into HGH that it agreed to administer the previous month. This has revamped hope that HGH testing will finally be executed this year.
Bringing this all back, good for Peterson for not giving any f*cks about such accusations. The guy is talented and seems like he has a good head on his shoulders; so, of course he wouldn’t be fazed by any of this. If you ask me, you know you’ve made it when people start the dumbest f*cking rumors on the face of the planet about you.
Like seriously.
Rumors that are literally like the dumbest shit ever.
I mean–wait.
Actually, that would make a lot of sense.
In closing, I wish Peterson well and I’m glad he’s taking all of this bullsh*t in stride. I’m excited to see him continue to play well during this upcoming football season.
