As for as Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug goes, information about it has been on super-mega-ultra lock-down—a la Star Wars VII style.
Most of the people I know are really excited for this movie, but so far, we have all heard sh*t about it.
Seriously.
Like, not a damn thing.
Though the movie will be crashing into theaters in December, nothing was featured about it at this year’s Comic-Con and the only thing we have to go on is a trailer.
Until now.
According to Screen Rant, two interesting, promotional images have been released. Here they are below:
The first image showcases Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) and company as they struggles across a roaring sea in barrels. The second image displays Bilbo’s reflection in Smaug’s eye, which is sure to remind many of the final shot of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the kinda-sorta, half-assed revelation of the dragon at the end of the movie.
Hopefully, we actually get to see the dragon this time?
Anyways, if you haven’t caught the trailer yet, here it is below:
