Apparently, after a huge bidding war between multiple networks, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Fox has lock-downed the rights to a new show brought to us by Tina Fey. The show is being described as a multi-camera show that is “a comedy which takes place at a women’s college that has just opened its doors to men for the first time.”
This is good news for people who are hungry for more Fey projects, especially since 30 Rock recently wrapped up. It also isn’t the only project Fey is attached to this year. Another project that she is developing was sold to NBC earlier this year and is being described as “a workplace comedy in which a woman reconnects with her estranged father and finds a new home and family on Fire Island.”
So…is this The Office meets A.C.O.D.?
I kid, I kid.
Though I’m sad that she appears to not be returning in any acting capacity for the mentioned shows, I’m excited to see what she’ll be bringing to our televisions.
