Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg Are On a Roll – FX Orders Their ‘Bigfoot’ Pilot

This past summer, unlike many before, was noticeably chock-full of reboots, remakes, and sequels. It was also seriously lacking in the original projects department. However, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg‘s This Is the End managed to be one of those few original projects and it also managed to impress critics and viewers alike, which is a tough deed in this day and age.

Seriously. Good for them.

Anyways, their success is not stopping there, for FX Networks has seen it fit to order a pilot for Bigfoot. Bigfoot happens to be a fresh, new animated produced by Rogen and Goldberg. It will be based on a group of graphic novel “autobiographies”, (written by Graham Roumieu, who will be producing also), which follow the adventures of the mythical monster. The pilot, which is written by Matt McKenna of American Dad fame, will be focusing on Bigfoot as an average, everyday guy struggling with his animalistic tendencies and the simplicity of everyday life.

Could this be the next Archer for FX?

Only time will tell, my friends.

I am confident it will do well, do to involvement from Rogen and Goldberg, as well as McKenna. On top of that, FX is doing well for itself too, seeing as this is another impressive-sounding project that has been clinched along with the likes of a Fargo series featuring Billy Bob Thorton and a brand-spanking-new series featuring Donald Glover.

Television just got hella interesting.
