Kurt Russell Joins ‘Fast & Furious 7’ Cast

As if the great Tony Jaa joining Fast & Furious 7 wasn’t exciting enough, Screen Crush and Variety recently reported that Kurt Russell is in talks to joining the aforementioned cast.

Yup. We’re crazy, Kurt. Crazy for you.

Known for action-packed movies like Big Trouble in Little China, Escape from New York and dramas like Dreamer and Miracle, Russell’s addition to the Fast and Furious franchise is definitely welcoming news. The franchise doesn’t look like it’s slowing down soon and many—including myself—trust that he will elevate this movie a couple of notches.

Not that it needs that much help (i.e. Tony Jaa).

Details about Russell’s role have yet to be announced, but like I mentioned previously about Tony Jaa, I’m curious to know whether Russell will be playing a hero or a villain. Ideally though, I’d appreciate it if he ended up kicking ass alongside Vin Diesel and The Rock.
