Author E. L. James has enjoyed quite a bit of success this year. In addition to topping Forbes’ list of top-earning authors (I know. It pains me to recall this), she has finally found her on-screen Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.
As of this morning, Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam will be playing titular characters in the film adaptation of her erotic love story.
James announced the casting news this morning via her Twitter feed:
Johnson has had previous roles in 21 Jump Street, Ben & Kate, and The Five-Year Engagement. As for Hunnam, he has starred in Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim, and Deadfall.
There have been mixed reactions in light of this news, especially on James’ Twitter feed. As for me, however, I’m lacking in f*cks to give.

Yeah, I went there.
