The first trailer for Universal’s upcoming comedy, Neighbors, has recently hit the web and it finds Zac Efron (the perpetual high school student…wait, he finally graduated? Yay, does that mean he is legal now?) who plays a rowdy fraternity leader and Seth Rogan and Rose Byrne as a married couple on opposite sides of the picket fence (like what I did there?).
It all starts when a frat moves into the neighborhood and leaves right next door to Rogan — any time Rogan is your neighbor/friend, sh*t is about to get funny. The frat starts doing…what frats usually do, raising hell and other stuff and this sparks an ever-escalating feud between the neighbors.
Neighbors, formerly titled Townies (Thank Jeebus they changes the title), is directed by Nicholas Stoller, who directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall and costars Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin/Red Mist) Dave Franco, and Friends actress Lisa Kudrow.
It’s slated to punch everyone in the face on May 9th, 2014.
