The 21-time Grammy Award winner, Kanye West, announced this Friday, that he is embarking on a 23-city, 7-week North American tour, which will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Seattle. With the tickets going on sale on Friday, Sept. 13.
The rapper’s show will combine “state-of-the-art staging, production, and lighting design with his unmatched aesthetic, visionary creative mind, and an increasingly impressive catalogue of hits spanning his decade-long career,” according to a press release. It is West’s first solo tour in five years an to date, he has sold over 21 million albums and over 66 million digital tracks worldwide
West tweeted “TOUR”–which is much less than 140 characters, wasted space– on Friday with a link of a promotional photo of him.
But Kanye won’t being going solo on the tour as the opening act will be fellow rapper, Kendrick Lamar.
