Recently, the NFL has been relentlessly searching for an entertainer to headline their upcoming Super Bowl halftime show in 2014 and such entertainers on their short list had previously included the likes of Jay Z, Billy Joel, and Bon Jovi.
However, the Associated Press and the New York Daily News have recently confirmed that Bruno Mars will be performing at the aforementioned halftime show.
In light of such news, some local fans didn’t appreciate that the powers that be over at NFL seemingly ignored the extensive and far-reaching talent that can be found in New York and New Jersey. On the other hand, fans of the Grammy Award-winning singer didn’t see an issue.
And frankly, I don’t have much of an issue with it either.
Moving on, responding to the slight backlash, an NFL spokesman joked about who they didn’t consider and on that short list was none other than infamous serial twerker, Miley Cyrus.

Damn.
Glad to know that the people over at NFL have a good sense of humor.
Anyways, I’m wishing Bruno Mars good luck with this show. I’m sure that he’ll find a way to wow us all.
