There has been a lot of discussion on the odd (and that’s putting it nicely) nature of Miley Cyrus‘ recent performance at the VMAs. While most celebrities had less-than-stellar things to say about it, a handful of celebrities have come to her aid.
However, Anna Wintour, Vogue’s editor-in-chief, is definitely not one of those celebrities.
In fact, Wintour is apparently now canceling an upcoming cover that features Cyrus due to her divisive VMAs performance.

My words exactly.
An insider at Hollywood News Daily had this to say about the matter:
“Anna found the whole thing distasteful. She decided, based on Miley’s performance to take the cover in a different direction.”
Cyrus has continually defended her performance as a ploy to rid herself of her Disney image, but apparently, it has proved too much for Wintour to deal with. While many of us aren’t fans of Cyrus’ music, most of us agree that Cyrus, when she get’s it right, has great style.
Which is probably why Wintour had been so interested in her in the first place.
But I guess she can kiss that goodbye now.
