[UPDATE]: The powers that be over at BBC also decided to grace their fans with a new poster for the upcoming anniversary special. Here it is below:
Hopefully, they’ll stop teasing us and release a trailer soon?
Eh.
We fans can hope.
[ORIGINAL STORY]:
If you’re a fan who is highly anticipating the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary, then do I have good news for you.
According to Screen Rant, the title of the special and the runtime has recently been released. The special will be called “The Day of the Doctor” and the runtime will clock in at around 75 minutes (which happens to longer than a typical episode and longer than the standard time for Doctor Who Christmas specials).
More Doctor Who for everyone!

That’s right.
Anyways, as it has been previously announced, the special will also see the return of the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), previous companion Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), and the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith). Valeyard, (John Hurt), who is also known as the man that gave the entire Doctor Who fandom a big ass headache, will be returning as well.
With a title like the one above, expect some focus to be placed on the Doctor and his many iterations. You should also expect the special to be awesome, especially since there will be Zygons and Daleks involved.

Are you ready for this?
As a reminder, the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary will be premiering November 23, 2013 on BBC and BBC America.
Don’t forget to tune in!
