So, Kanye West has allowed his temper to get him into a bit of trouble.
On yesterday he was charged with misdemeanor battery, as well as attempted grand theft, due to his altercation with a paparazzo, Daniel Ramos, back in July.
Ramos was trying to get a picture of the famed rapper exiting an airport when West became incredibly angry. Supposedly, West knocked Ramos to the ground, and tried with all his might to take the paparazzo’s camera away from him.
The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office decided not press charges because there seemed to be no “significant injury”, so now the case is in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney’s Office. Arraignment has been scheduled to take place on October 10.
Honestly, I rarely take the side of a paparazzo, I find them to be rude, and in many cases they are willing to do anything, including endangering someone’s life for a picture, but I do think that Kanye West was overreacting. I get his frustration; I don’t know if I could deal with people being in my face constantly, but he has to learn to handle himself better before he ends up in serious trouble.
