Looks like Independence Day 2 is going to be facing some heated competition from the robot that never dies.

Nah. Not gonna happen.
Some weeks ago, Terminator 5 had just found its director in Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World, Game of Thrones) and had its release day set for July 26, 2015. Now, the powers that be have decided that Terminator 5 will be moving to a new release date: July 1, 2015.
Like the last time I posted on this, plot details are still nowhere to be seen or heard. The movie is set, however, to be the first in a new standalone trilogy that involves original franchise star Arnold Schwarzenegger in some type of capacity.
I highly doubt he’ll be back as the quintessential robot (he’s aged quite a bit), but I could be wrong.
Let’s just hope they avoid exceedingly terrible CGI (a la X-Men 3: The Last Stand style where they made Professor X look like he was made out of f*cking plastic).

Look at this sh*t! Why did they even do this?! Patrick Stewart has literally looked the same since Star Trek. I can’t.
