Ben Affleck Finally Speaks Out About Being Cast as Batman (Video)

Alright.

Recently, Batfleck Ben Affleck sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and finally talked about his being cast as Batfleck Batman.

And as a self-proclaimed (and unashamed) hater, I was initially skeptical of what Batfleck Affleck had to say.

Too late. I’m a professional.

But, after viewing the video below, I can honestly say that Batfleck Affleck just earned some cool points back in my book. But before I get into all of that, check the video out for yourself:

I openly admit to being that commenter that Batfleck Affleck was talking about.

Yup.

That was me.

(I kid, I kid.)

Moving on, I’m glad that Batfleck Affleck was wise enough to heed the words of WB and go incognito for awhile. Had he not, he might’ve fanned an already tedious ass fire with even the smallest of words. But, that’s not even the most interesting part for me.

As you know, regardless of my initial reaction to Batfleck’s Affleck’s casting, I have always said that the man is a damn good director and it comforts me (slightly. Only in the slightest.) that Batfleck Affleck apparently has confidence in the vision that Zack Snyder has for the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. I am still bummed as all f*ck that Affleck himself is not directing (I’m still not sure why, but whatever.), but if Batfleck Affleck is willing to believe in Snyder, I will give them both the benefit of the doubt.

Don’t get me wrong, though. Batfleck Affleck still has a lot to prove from where I am standing, but I am willing to admit that I am far less skeptical (and angry) than I was a month ago.

So, I guess I believe in the guy now (and when I say believe, I want you to know that it’s mostly half-assed and all, but the belief is there nonetheless).

Good luck, Batfleck Affleck.

Don’t f*ck this up.
