The official music video for “Lolly” by Maejor Ali is here. The hip-hop based track first hit the net back in February of this year, and fans of the catchy tune have been awaiting the arrival of a visual. “Lolly” features both Juicy J and Justin Bieber. Bieber actually raps his verse, and didn’t sound half bad. Don’t get me wrong. He is in no way a lyricist, but it’s still not that bad.
The video was actually pretty typical, (that’s not to say it wasn’t entertaining), but it was pretty much what I expected it to be. The video hosted a plethora of young women holding lollipops; There was synchronized dancing, and neon lights flashing everywhere. There were a few child dancers thrown in the mix that I found to be a little oddly placed, but hey, it has kind of been a thing for while to put kids in a video that isn’t remotely geared towards children.
So I guess I have to let that slide.
