It’s no secret that Ken Jeong is one of the best parts of Community and that he played a wonderful part in The Hangover trilogy. So, it should come as no surprise when reports of a new sitcom for the star surface.
This past weekend, Deadline reported that the Community star will mostly likely be acquiring his own multi-cam sitcom called Dr. Ken. The sitcom will reportedly be based loosely on Jeong’s own adventures in the medical field.
Writer Jared Stern (The Internship) is on board for the project, which is being helmed by Sony Pictures TV. So, hypothetically, Jeong could still stick with Community and this new series if he wanted.
So, fear not, Community fans.
Well, at least not yet, anyways.
