I can practically hear the cries of Jonas Brothers‘ fans across around the globe, as the boys comeback tour has officially been canceled. A rep. for the trio has stated that there was a “deep rift within the band” and a “disagreement over their music direction”.
The Jonas Brothers were an unstoppable force when they first hit the scene back in 2007. They garnered fame, and adoring fans all over the world, selling over 20 million records worldwide. The group was in the process of working on their 10th studio album,V, and had already released two singles, “Pom Poms” and “First Time”, prior to this unfortunate announcement.
Nick and Joe have each released solo records in the past, while Kevin became a reality show star, so this is not the first time that they have ventured in different directions. Maybe one day, they will be able to reconcile their differences, and give their fans what they want, but for the time being I wish them all the best with whatever they decide to do next.
If you haven’t seen them already, the official music videos for “Pom Poms” and “First Time” can be viewed below.
