Selena Gomez has official been booked to perform during the Dallas Cowboys’ halftime show for their traditional Thanksgiving Day game, which will take place on November 28 in Arlington, TX at the AT&T Stadium.
Gomez had this to say on Sunday during her official announcement:
“I’m from Texas, so I’m a little nervous, I’m not going to lie. But I’m very honored and I hope that we come…and we give Texas a really good show and I make them proud.”
Gomez also took to twitter to give the announcement, in which she expressed her delight to perform at the halftime show, and be instrumental in the kickoff of the Salvation Army‘s 123rd annual Red Kettle Campaign, which provides shelter, food, and toys for families in need.
She as well as many others, icluding the Cowboys, are incouraging people to join the online Red Kettle team, which can be done by visiting their website, onlineredkettle.org.
