*Before you guys start questioning my sanity in how I just smashed together two topics in one post like this but the truth is I am secretly posting this while in psych class (the struggles of a university student) and I just thought it would be enough to tack on Cyrus News onto the booty end of the important stuff.
First, let us talk about Gaga.
The Mother Monster will sing in outer space in 2015, E! News confirms. The Mother Monster is expected to perform at the Zero G Colony festival.
Gaga most recently released her newest single, Dope, from her upcoming album ARTPOP, which is the final song available for purchase before the album hits airwaves on Monday, Nov. 11.
While Gaga has released a few songs from ARTPOP—which is, according to the singer “designed be a trip, heard from start to finish”—”Applause” was publicly leaked and happened to drop the same day as Katy Perry’s single “Roar,” sparking rumors of a feud between the two singers.
However Perry came forward and insisted there was no feud and this included reaching out to Gaga through twitter expressing their mutual problems with leaked singles.
Another question on the platter of all things concerning The 27-year old pop star, was her recent choices fashion wise.
Lady Gaga most recently appeared at the first ever YouTube Music Awards on Sunday Nov. 3, where she arrived wearing a bizarre look similar to the cover art from her single “Dope,” which included a black top hat, black shades and a black leather shirt-dress in addition to a yellow, decaying, faux grin.
During her guest appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the singer said that her crazy outfits are how she deals with her “insanity.”
“From when I was young I had voices in my head, and for the longest time I was drinking and doing a lot of drugs and it was the clothing and the artistry that saved me,” she explained. I guess it’s kind of an answer…
After stating that what she does is not for attention in the new December issue of Cosmopolitan, saying, “I think everyone would have given anything to be me at that moment, because I was being one hundred percent true to myself…and not many people can say that.”
…I honestly think not…
“I need to treat my music like a relationship – give it my time and all the attention it deserves – and that’s my main love right now,” Cyrus said. “This is the best time of my life. I’m not going to look back on it and be like, ‘I wish I hadn’t been dwelling over a breakup,’ you know? Because that’s not what God wants my life to be about right now.”
But it seems she’ll get her wish, her tour (which she announced on SNL) will kick off on Valentine’s Day 2014.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer will visit 38 cities to promote her latest album, and the first performance will be in Vancouver, B.C, according to a press release. The 20-year-old pop star will visit, to name a few places, New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Miami. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, Nov. 16.
