Even though The Flash will not be premiering for another three months, the show continues to keep itself and the general populace busy with all sorts of exciting news. This time around, such news has to do with casting.
Recently, Wentworth Miller has been cast as Leonard Snart aka the despicable Captain Cold and he will be making an appearance in the show’s fourth episode. However, it is not known yet if he will be sporting his trusty freeze gun or if his powers will be modernized (within reason). Either way, I have faith that it’ll turn out well. I mean, just judging from the footage we’ve already been shown (especially footage displaying The Flash’s super-speed), I’m not worried.

i mean, I don’t feel THAT intensely, but you get what I’m saying.
At all.
Miller joins a cast that includes Candice Patton (Iris West), Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Harrison Wells), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow), Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon), Jesse L. Martin (Detective West), John Wesley Shipp (The original Flash; Henry Allen), Robbie Amell (Firestorm), and Rick Cosnett (Detective Eddie Thawne). I gotta say: It’s great to see Miller again. The guy was phenomenal in Prison Break and I look forward to seeing what he brings to The Flash.
If you haven’t yet, you should check out the trailer for the pilot below:
The Flash premieres on October 7th on the CW at 7pm central time.
